Hello. I am Bryan, 

 

I have started this blog to document my research into various companies that I did/may invest in. These serve as something for me to look back in the future to allow me to maintain a decision benchmark of some sort. I am also going to keep my research open and available so anyone can provide feedback.

My long term goals are to proliferate financial literacy and to strive for a comprehensive yet pragmatic regulatory environment for the financial world. In that aspect, I seek to (one day) serve professionally at regulatory boards and also to be a educator.

 

I believe investing for returns is doable for everybody. We are not talking about astronomical returns or huge losses as seen in trading, high-risk securities, or the like. However, a constant, reasonable (and much better than sitting on cash) rate of return is achievable without risking much of your assets. Hence, most of my portfolio and research are based on fundamental prospects of businesses without much enter/exit strategy - we are in for a long time! 

 
My fields of interest in finance are the fundamental analysis of financial instruments, portfolio risk aversion & optimization, macro-economic analysis & long term investments, interpretation of financial statements and financial psychology.

Other fields that I'm keen on include astrophysics, biology, calisthenics, and nutrition. 
 

I believe investing is an extremely large field and I am by no means an expert or the like, but I hope through learning I can improve my vision and of course my finances. Regularly I might also post personal stuff that are finance/business related (don't worry there won't be cat videos) since I don't intend for this to be a professional wall street news kind of website.
